Tuesday 16th August 2005.

Today, the song that I have had in my head has been "You are my World" by The Communards.

Something's not right. I've been packing ready to move house and I have 8 big cartons of my books, records and C.D.'s but only one and a half bin liners of clothes. Surely it should be the other way around - being female? I did have to give away some lovely clothes though, including some gorgeous dresses given to me as presents that I'd kept in the hope I'd lose weight. I've lost over half a stone and tried them on but I found it difficult to breathe.
I'd forgotten how stressful moving house is. It's the not knowing when it's going to happen. If I'd been given a date at the beginning, the organising of a lot of things could be done straight away - like sorting out the gas and electricity, that kind of thing, rather than doing it at what seems the last minute. In an ideal world eh?
Still, it'll be nice to pay off all of my debts, that'll be a weight off my shoulders.

Blues played Fulham away on Saturday, first match of the season. I had a bad feeling about that match and sad to say I was proved right. A point's a point but I wanted us to win as I felt if we didn't it would jinx the rest of the season . Hopefully I'll be proved wrong on Saturday when Blues play Man City at home.

Monday 8th August 2005

Today, the song that I have had in my head - and singing (my neighbours love me) has been "Seagull" by Bad Company.

Went to a friends house for a curry on Saturday night, the curry was cooked by her hubby Pete and was very good - nearly as good as one of mine - must tempt him to a curry competition next time I speak to him. Christine, my friend has got religion in a big big way. I have a feeling she thinks she's not a good person though why that is I don't know, she's the goodest person I know!

I've just finished reading http://www.jeanmauel.co.uk/clanOfTheCaveBear.htm (again) and starting on the second one - I must learn how to do proper links.
