Today, the song I have had in my head and been singing (sorry Maxine) has been "Same Situation" by Joni Mitchell.
I've had surprisingly nice texts and emails from various folks about the Blues relegation - c'est la vie, was on the cards months ago, just wish I hadn't had a bet with a Villa fan colleague that this wouldn't happen. Dreading seeing him tomorrow.
Read the Kite Runner again - what a wonderful read. Everyone I know who I've recommended it to has said the same thing. Made me cry - which I resist doing.....long story.
The kids have had a good couple of weeks, staying with Jenny(sister) and Mark (her hubby) for two weekends. Mark managed to get tickets for them to go to see The Might Boosh live (apparently I wouldn't have enjoyed the show!?). Jenny and Mark have been busy writing books and with looking after their two kids so my two were chuffed.
Computer's fixed thanks to J.
The bus I caught to town the other day smelt of mothballs..which was weird.
Am having to go for tests - blood and ecg - 'cos of health problems I've been having. I've had a really really stressful year so maybe it's catching up with me. Whatever the cause, it's not nice.
