Today, the song that I have had in my head has been "Having my baby" by Paul Anka. *sobs*

Well, I had a very nice bloke come 'round to my house on Sunday to give me a quote for a bit of work I need doing. He was not particularly impressed by Richard of R W Home Services- it was obvious he'd taken no care and rushed the work, plus he contravened building regulations by having the spindles on my new bannister too far apart. Nice to have an expert agree with me - and boy, I do so wish I'd met him first.
By the way, it really bugs me that there aren't full stops after R W but that's what's on his card so that's the way I type it.
I'm getting in touch with Trading Standards tomorrow.
